Poor Mother is designed and made in Melbourne by Irish jeweller Emma Megannety. An ode to her homeland, Emma’s jewellery references the rugged Donegal coastline while also drawing on the corporeality of the mother figure to communicate notions of home, place making and movement.

Working predominantly in recycled and refined gold, Emma employs traditional jewellery-making techniques to create future heirlooms.
